looking at any product on this site and some others I get message that javaScript is not enabled, I have downloaded latest version of Java 6.0.200.2. Looking ast Tools>Options>Content I have JavaScript enabled. I have just downloaded latest version of Firefox. I know this site worked 2 months ago, it is a major UK DIY store called B&Q. I also tried with IE but got the same message, thought that must be the site but a friend has been on for me with no problems..... confused

Yes I understand that java and javaScript are not the same. I think the problem must be related to the system or add-ons that both Firefox and Internet Explorer use as they both don't work. Looking at themes, the Default at 3.6.3 is there

You you have security software (firewall) that can block JavaScript ? Did you check the settings there?

If it happens in IE as well then a more likely cause is such software.

Hi, thanks for the ideas, I have looked at Firewall, even tried with it off!! no change. Decided now that this is not really affecting the usage of the system, mainly for e-mail,Skype and Web Browsing. based on that I will not proceed any further with this at this time and will close the case. Many thanks for ideas & assistance much appreciated.
