Firefox’s HTTPS-Only Mode forces all sites to load over HTTPS, which may block HTTP links. Here's how to disable it:
1) Open Firefox.
2) Click on the three horizontal lines (menu) in the upper-right corner and select Settings.
3) Scroll down to the Privacy & Security section.
4) Under HTTPS-Only Mode, choose Don't enable HTTPS-Only Mode.
5) Restart Firefox.
This will allow HTTP links to open again.
