Corruption of prefs.js file
Good evening everyone, here's my question: Why are automatic backups of the prefs.js file no longer performed? This happened with every Thunderbird update (I think) until the end of 2022, then never again. Why this choice? If there were any problems, it was often enough to replace the damaged prefs.js file with one of the automatic copies to fix everything. It would be very useful to restore this excellent and simple security method. Many thanks for your attention, I await your response.
