Tbird not deleting inbox on server

As of 4/17/23, mail is no longer deleting off the hotmail/outlook.com server. Every 5 minutes Thunderbird downloads all messages still in the inbox. No settings have been changed. I think TB updated to 102.10.0 about when this started. How do I fix this so I don't get multiple copies of the same emails in my inbox? "Leave messages on server" is not checked. Only thing I can do is go to outlook.com and delete emails in inbox.
