Why does Thunderbird not support RTL?
Since updating over v60 I can't get RTL writing support with thunderbird. I find it ridiculous that an app needs a plugin to enable RTL support, let alone not support this plug in anymore. It's not like the editor doesn't support RTL by itself. I COULD add it as an HTML, but why should I? I can't use Thunderbird when RTL is not supported.

Are you referring to BiDi Mail UI? The latest version supports TB 60, and has for a year.
Yes I am referring to BiDi Mail UI. Why won't Thunderbird support this out of the box? It's just adding a direction button, that's all.
Perhaps you could file a bug requesting it. But perhaps you might follow the existing bugs.
