I have read all the replies I could find to this and none of them solve it. I have Thunderbird 45.6.0 Nowhere in Tools, Options, Advanced is there a delay setting Nor in Tools, Options, Display, Advanced

I know there used to be a setting that was easy to find, well it sure isn't now.

Thanks I was looking at the wrong Advanced tab ! there's one at the top right but it was the lower down one on the left Sorted now
