T-bird quit downloading my messages

Thunderbird has worked well for me for quite a while, but lately, it won't download emails to my inbox. It says it's downloading message 1 of 34, but doesn't download them. It did download one, 4 times, and another one, 1 time, but then it quits, and then shows..... No messages to download. I can log in to my Frontier account, and see the emails, but can't get them downloaded. I wonder WHY this is happening.

Have you checked that your ISP isn't having problems? That's what this sounds like to me.

Or check that your ISP hasn't changed their settings. Their current settings seem to be https://frontier.com/helpcenter/categories/internet/email/set-up-email-in-other-programs/email-programs/mozilla-thunderbird
