Did you import your bookmarks when you first used Firefox? If not you can do it now. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/import-bookmarks-internet-explorer

Also, the homepage may need to be set in Firefox. That setting isn't carried over from another browser. See - How to set the home page
