adobe flash plugin keeps crashing

I have uninstalled adobe flash plugin and redownloaded/installed it from the adobe site several times but it always crashes which freezes my computer. Reports have been sent to Mozilla and Adobe and Microsoft but nothing helps. Running current adobe player 11 plugin version as well as most current (just updated two weeks ago) Mozilla Firefox. Any permanent solutions for this?

hello, maybe it's an issue with the protected mode in the flash plugin - you could try if disabling protected mode makes a difference.
