get rid of win 10 support end remminder or i take firefox to court
how get rid of win 10 support end remminder that has only started appearing since last update. if it is not removed i will take firefox to court. this pc supposedly does not support win 11 and i would never consider installing win 11 on any pc. i am not in a position to buy a new pc and i would not use win 11 anyway. you are clealy in cahoots with microsoft who are robbing bastards. i am contemplating going over to ubuntu. microsoft have clealy [expletive] themselves. typical american logic grab as much money as you can. if i cannot get rid of this reminder that has suddenly started appearing accross top of window. i will look for a different browser to use.

Hi
I am going to edit your question for language as we try to keep things family friendly around here.
Are you able to share a full page screenshot of this message? There should be an "x" in it to be able to clear it.
I am not sure what you mean by Mozilla being in "cahoots" with Microsoft, or can see the grounds on which you could bring legal action, but I until is certainly a positive option worth looking into

Not sure how you can take a web browser to court ;)
Mozilla the makers of the Firefox web browsers has been supporting EOL Windows (and also macOS) far longer than other major browsers like the Chrome/Chromium based browsers.
For example Mozilla is still supporting the old EOL Windows 7, 8, 8.1 with the older Firefox 115 ESR channel even though Chrome/Chromium based browsers dropped Windows 7, 8, 8.1 back in January 2023. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-users-windows-7-8-and-81-moving-extended-support
Also even Windows 11 users can get such messages about Windows 10 due to Microsoft making the Windows 11 basically based on the same NT 10.0 as Windows 10.
STRANGE, SINCE I ASKED THE QUESTION THE ISSUE HAS STOPPED. IT WAS A LINE ACCROSS THE TOP JUST UNDER THE ADRESS BAR STATING REMINDER ABOUT WIN 10 SUPPORT STOPPING . YES THERE WAS A CROSS WHEN CLICKED ON CLOSED THE BAR BUT IT WAS ANNOYING.
Thank you for your feedback. This issue has been raised with Mozilla staff to look into.
