After signing into Amazon with firefox 43.0.1 (64-bit) browser on my mackbook I am not able to click on anything in firefox. I have to quit firefox and restart it before I can do anything. The even happens in a private window. Safari has no problems.

Hello! You probably meant Firefox 143. Firefox 43 was released in 2015. To fix the problem, check if Javascript is enabled, because without it for exsample the buttons on the web pages do not work, and you can also clear the browser cache.
