So whenever I click on new tabs, it always leads to a redirect notice asking me to confirm if I want to open those tabs.

I want it so that I don't get these notices, but the links I click on just open automatically. I have tried the following settings in about:config based on a few threads online:

accessibility.blockautorefresh

network.http.redirection-limit

A few other settings to that I have turned on and off but no difference.

A lot of the websites are also confusing because they seem to want to turn redirects ON rather than off, so potentially I am struggling to follow the correct information.

Any help appreciated.

Within the past few weeks clicking links in emails in Outlook (Version 16.109.1) for Mac fails to open a tab in Firefox. Is this a known issue with either Outlook or Firefox? Perhaps something that happened in an update to one or the other that can be changed back to allow email links to open tabs?

Clicking a "Youtube" video link on the search page results in a duplicate of the search page in a new tab. If I go to youtube I can open videos with no problem. System is Windows 11 and Bitdefender Total Security. All updates are current. Thank you

Hello. Whenever I open a link in another app, it opens this piece of art. Then, to not lose what I opened, I have to tap three dots and "Open in Firefox". I have "open links in-app" function turned off both in Firefox and all the other apps, where possible, but it still doesn't open links in normal Firefox as new tabs like the desktop browser does. I can't describe how much it pisses me off sometimes, it is so inconvenient. How do I turn this off? Maybe there's a community mod for it? Something??

Links on iPhone open in new tab that has to be closed rather than return using back navigation. I saw bug reports about this, but they affect iPad users with keyboard while I have vanilla iPhone. The same happens on Vivaldi so IMHO this is underlying iOS browser engine bug affecting all custom browsers.

Hi, it looks like Firefox can copy links from selected tabs, using right-click menu. It doesn't work for non HTTP(S) addresses though, such as "file:///C:/Users/USER/etc."

Is it possible for non HTTP(S) addresses?

The add on Export Tabs URLs by AL is very good, has the option for non HTTP(S) addresses, but I couldn't get it to work for selected tabs, is it possible for selected tabs?

Firefox is my Standard Browser and worked fine until today. Now I'm forced to choose between Chrome and Samsung when I User a link from an Email. The link doesn' t work until I change my standard to einher one of them. Hier can I set Firefox as a standard to open links? In the settings Firefox ist the standard browser.

Currently when I click a link in and email, it always opens in Microsoft Edge even though my computer has Firefox as default browser. Is there another setting I'm missing?

Mac OS 26.4.1 Firefox 150.0.1 I don't know if this the right topic for this question: My mailto doesn't seem to be working correctly. There are two places on this web page where there are mailto links and both send me to a screen that asks which application to use for mailto. When I select Firefox it just sends me back to the page that I clicked the mailto link and that's it. Hello Mozilla, FireFox in my default browser, but since you last update to 150.0, now my outlook won't open the hyper links from e-mail with them. It worked just fine between the two before. Now I get a message " this operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this compute. Please contact your system administrator." I am the administrator! anybody else report this issue since? I've tried all the internet advised fixes of changing the regedit registers from FIREFOXhtml to just htmlfile, but no joy. bold textI have my Windows 11 and Firefox updated as of 4/3/2026. I have two ongoing problems with Firefox. 1. No link works. I keep getting redirected back to my original location. I have used your troubleshoot feature to restart, but it doesn't stay fixed. 2. I have AdBlock Plus Premium and everytime I close the browser it logs me out of my AdBlock account. It is a real irritating problem. I pay to have ads blocked and if I can't keep it from blocking unwanted ads, then I guess I will quit using Firefox.
