How do I get rid of the very annoying "find" tab that appears on the bottom of the page constantly???
Whenever I try to type "anything anywhere", even after I have clicked on the appropriate place to search, a search box appears on the bottom of the page with a "find" option, and my search goes there instead of the actual place it should go to. Every time I have to X out of that box; and next time I search for something same problem happens.
This is a VERY annoying feature, and I have not been able to disable it. I am not sure why you have created such feature, and what you are trying to accomplish.

You have probably turned on an accessibility feature, if so that is easily turned off again
- Use Firefox button -> Options -> Advanced -> |General |
accessibility [] Search for text when I start typing - See
- Accessibility features in Firefox - Make Firefox and web content work for all users_search-for-text-when-i-start-typing
- Advanced panel - Accessibility, browsing, network, updates, and other advanced settings in Firefox_accessibility
If you do not want the Find bar, turn it off. Hitting the Esc key turns it off.
