I log into my online store frequently. I have added my sign-on page to my bookmarks. I changed the user name id and the password but Firefox is not asking me if I want it to remember the changes.

Each time I want to sign in I have to input all the information again. Security is not an issue because it is my personal laptop and nobody else uses it.

How can I force Firefox to remember the changes?

I have the same problem, but it was caused by my grandchild hitting something and now my user name and password is not stored anymore. When you find out how to restore this please let me know the answer. Thanks

The website may be using autocomplete=off to prevent Firefox from saving the name and password.
You can remove autocomplete=off with a bookmarklet to make Firefox save the name and password.

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode.
