Cannot send emails
You seem to have addressed this topic well but not simple enough for complete non-techies like me who can really only do "Click X, then right hand click Y, then click Z" etc. Is there a noddy solution I could try? Thanks. Derek

That was quick - Sunday evening too! I use Thunderbird as usual and all is okay until I hit "Send". The button goes grey but that's it. The message/reply to a message isn't sent.

Well, I have no quick solution. Sometimes rebooting fixes that. Or possibly network problems. Also, check your anti-virus. If this continues, try restarting in troubleshoot mode to see if it works then.
Thanks for your time David. If you have any further thoughts let me know. In the meanwhile I'll just bumble along answering emails to my Thunderbird account via ny Gmail account.
