Mozilla Firefox won't open
When I try and open Firefox, a window pops up for a millisecond before going off my screen, and firefox doesnt open. This is extremely irritating as i downloaded firefox since I also cant open chrome. Is there a fix to this, I have restarted my computer and have uninstalled and reinstalled firefox.
Thanks, Nathan

Ed, (Edit: realised this was the wrong account but it’s still me) I kid you not, a few minutes before I looked at my emails, I left my Microsoft family (that I didn’t set up) since I couldn’t access 50% of websites. This was in fact the problem and after looking at your reply, I opened chrome and Firefox and they in fact worked. Thanks for the help ,
Nathan

Hello,
The issue may be fixed with the latest 140.0.1 release. Please update your Firefox (you can just download the Firefox installer and run it when the browser is closed) and let us know whether the problem persists.
Hi Nathan, are you using a version of Firefox installed from the Microsoft/Windows app store, or is it the one installed directly from the Mozilla website? I'm not suggesting a change, just trying to gather information for now. Thank you.
It was downloaded from the Mozilla Website, the most recent version as of the download (only a couple of weeks ago) I'm starting to think it is a windows problem. Opera GX, Firefox and Chrome all do not open except for a small window for a millisecond. These were all browsers that weren't downloaded onto my pc by default, unlike Microsoft edge which is the only one I can still use.
If it's the FF bug, it also affected some browsers other than Edge. Should be fixed with FF v140.0.2. If it isn't, and if FF works if you rename firefox.exe to firefox1.exe, try disabling Microsoft Family Safety (https://impulsec.com/parental-control-software/microsoft-family-safety-turn-off/#Disabling-Microsoft-Family-Safety).
