missing bookmark after update
Hi I just did an update and now all of my bookmarks are gone. I didn't have a profile previously. I was just using Firefox. I tried following some of the guides on how to restore bookmarks but none of them helped.
I tried a system restore but that didnt work either. How do I get my bookmarks?

Sorry forgot to mention that I downloaded Firefox ESR. I was using plain Firefox prior. I'm doing online classes for college and it was suggested to use Firefox ESR so I downloaded it. Now all of my bookmarks are gone.
Please help me restore my bookmarks
Sometimes there is a profile with all of your user data, that is still hanging around
Go to url below, then see if a profile other than the default is on the list. If so, invoke it and see if it has your bookmarks, et al.
about:profiles
Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox? Look inside. Look for the folder with the latest creation date.
