Can't log out of website

bidwin

I tried to log out of a website but found myself still logged in. Tried to log out several times, even closed Firefox and restarted, but was still logged in. I complained to the site's web support folks who pointed the finger at my browser. I tried the site with Safari and, sure enough, was logged out. If Firefox is the culprit what do I have to do to ensure I can log out of any site I visit? Thanks.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.
