back browser doesn't work after upgrade

when I hover over the arrow which is now gray the words "go back one page appear but nothing happens and there's no way to click on the words. They disappear as soon as I move the mouse at all - even when I continue to hold down on the button. The page wont go backwards or forwards. Also the refresh button doesn't do anything. It's there and I can click it but it doesn't reload the page.
