I am running Windows XP and Earthlink dialup and I cannot access the Yahoo home page, although I can get to my mail account. Uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox did not help

Also, I forgot my Firefox password, and although the program claimed to have sent email to my email address, it never showed up. [I later found it in the spam folder ] I have had to use another account to post here.
