Where has my tab (tool)bar gone?

I cannot see any of my tabs where they usually appear above my web page(s). I somehow managed to get rid of it like you can hide the other toolbars but now cannot get it back. I can open multiple tabs but I can't see them. I know the tabs open because when I close the window it tells me I am closing a certain amount of tabs, I just can't see them or use the feature properly.

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
