Where is the OPTION TO TERMINATE Nightly from constantly asking to install updates? Right now there are 2 options: 1) let it update without permission, or 2) request permission. Who can get anything done with constantly asking to update when it is not appropriate to auto-update?

The Nightly development channel is meant more for Testers and Developers in mind as it can get checkins twice a day with updates twice a day.

If you prefer to have less frequent updates in testing then try the Beta or Developer Edition channels as a version on the channel gets only nine updates in testing though it used to be fourteen some time ago. The Developer Edition channel is the same as the Beta but with additional developer features.

Also if you want to continue to test the Nightly channel then the Nightly builds threads in https://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=23 may be of interest to follow along on the fixed and partial each build day.
