Visual Glitches (White Bars) in Multi-Select Mode and Landscape View

3143286503

I am reporting two visual glitches (white bars) occurring in the Android version of Firefox.

  1. White Bar Appear Numbered list items at the Top in Portrait Multi-Select Mode
When the browser is in portrait mode and I enter the multi-select state (e.g., in the Bookmarks or Downloads management screens), a white bar appears briefly or persists at the top of the screen. This seems like a UI rendering error.
  2. White Bar Appears on the Left Side in Landscape Mode
When the phone is in landscape mode, a persistent white bar/strip is visible on the far left side of the screen. This affects the full-screen display.

Device Information: Android Version: Android 16 Firefox Version: 144.0.1 (Build #2016121407)

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out! Would you mind filing a bug report on Bugzilla, Mozilla's bug tracker? That would let the developer team take a look and reach out to you directly in case they have any additional questions. I would also appreciate sharing a link to the report here.

If you don't feel comfortable enough with filing a bug, just let me know, and I'll do it for you.

PS Could you please also include your device model?
