Password manager
How do I create a strong password with Mozilla's Password Manager when I'm not prompted by it to do so? And, also can it be used to generate a password for something that is outside of the browser?

Hi!
You can generate a strong password with Firefox’s Password Manager even when it doesn’t automatically prompt you:
On any website password field, right-click the field and choose Use a Securely Generated Password.
Make sure Settings → Privacy & Security → Logins and Passwords → Ask to save logins and passwords for websites is enabled, otherwise the option may not appear.
Currently, Firefox can only generate passwords inside a browser form. If you need a password for something outside the browser (like a desktop app), you can generate one in a password field on any website, then copy it to use elsewhere.
