Recently, I have been unable to send emails from my computer through Thunderbird. I am able to send emails on my cell phone using the same email address. I am getting the following error message.

Login to server smtp.verizon.net with username rjwood920 failed. Then it keeps asking to try new password. I had not changed the password. After so many attempts to enter my password, I get the following error message.

Sending of the message failed. The message could not be sent because the connection to Outgoing server (SMTP) smtp.verizon.net timed out. Try again.

Any help on how to resolve is appreciated.
