Downloaded Firefox FlatPack from Linux Terminal and it came with pre-configured policy

I downloaded Firefox Flatpak using the commands in this video. Youtube Video

(Is this even officially supported?)

I noticed it has some enterprise policies and in the settings page it says "your browser is managed by your organization"

Well. When I get more into the settings I saw two active enterprise policies just like this: ///

DisableAppUpdate true DontCheckDefaultBrowser true

///

And couldn't find a way to manage these policies. Is there a way to remove that? I use Linux Debian 10 on Chromebook.

That video is about installing Firefox on a Chromebook device and doesn't apply to s regular desktop device. If you run Firefox from the repositories then you can't update yourself and thus it makes sense to disable updating.

You should be able to install Firefox from the Mozilla server.

It is a Chromebook / Linux enabled and the Linux version is Debian 10.
