The lastpass autofill app for android doesn't seem to work with the new Firefox app for android. And there doesn't seem to be a plugin available for it yet either. I know there is a basic password manager built into the browser itself but it doesn't seem anywhere near as secure or as featureful as lastpass (no secure notes, for example) so I have no real intention of using it. Especially given how hard it looks like it would be to transfer everything over.

Does anyone know if Mozilla have plans to support lastpass in the new browser and, if so, what the likely timescale is going to be? I do like the new browser (the interface is slick and pages load very fast) but I am not sure that is enough to make up for a long term loss of secure password functionality. At the moment I am in two minds as to whether to accept the inconvenience of manually entering passwords from now on or just go back to chrome.

Thanks

Hi Daniel

Thsi is more of an issue for LastPass to look into for you.

As an alternative you may wish to use the password managment tool in Firefox for Android that can sync with a desktop copy of Firefox and also the Lockwise app to give you secure password access on your device.
