I've lost access to one of my Firefox (sync) accounts. I used 2FA, but I changed my phone... I would really like to have this account back, as it's my main account. Is there any possibility? I do not receive Firefox e-mails on the connected mail address... I could however connect this mail address to Firefox monitor on my other account. That mail did come through... I'm lost...

Hello, You should be able to reset your password by following these instructions: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/ive-lost-my-firefox-sync-account-information#w_iaove-forgotten-my-firefox-account-password-ae-how-do-i-reset-it

Unfortunately, after that the problem starts... After resetting my password it asks for a six digit code (the 2FA). I do not receive this on my new phone.

Hello,

If you have access to any device that you have currently logged in to your Firefox account, you can disable 2Factor from there: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/what-if-im-locked-out-two-step-authentication#w_i-lost-my-two-step-authentication-device-but-i-have-another-logged-in-device

Otherwise, I'm afraid you are out of luck. There is no option to disable 2factor without access to the account. I understand that this is annoying.

Thanks again, but again a nogo... Because I changed the password, I have to re-login at all other devices. I'm in a catch-22... Well... I won't die...;-)

Can't Mozilla kill the account completely, so I can re-use the same mail account...???
