I am trying to sync another computer and it says my number is invalid. I have a Mexican cel number and U.S. IP address.I don't need phone synced just computers

I just bought a new computer and want to sync my firefox bookmarks, tabs etc. I am trying to sync and it is asking for my phone number. I have a Mexican phone number but my internet company uses a U.S. Ip address. When I enter my number it says it is invalid. I have tried several ways. Can I finish the sync with this number? I don't actually need it synced to my device. I don't have firefox on my device (iphone)

Sync is optional. You can close the tab once you have created the Sync account if you do not want or can't add a mobile device.
