
How do I shut down/delete original In box since changing send/ recieve specs (which set up a new inbox) due to Telstras new mail service
I'm concerned the two 'In Boxes' will clash and I'll have further trouble accessing/ sending mail.

Right click the account in the folder pane, select settings. Select the account actions button at the bottom of the account settings dialog
Note this bit.
IF you remove the account any folder associated with it will also be removed. So put your mail in a safe place before you delete the folders it uses to store your mail

Thanks Matt i did what you advised - including shifting the old folders into the new account and am now back in the land of the living. My mails began to flow and I can respond. Thank you! Jack Hill
