You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Do you mean your company's public-facing website, or a service the company's employees use? If the steps listed by cor-el do not help you with a public-facing website, you can share the link if you like. For employee-only sites that require an account, you might check with your IT on whether they are able to use Firefox with the site or know of a trick.

I think someone else posted about a problem with a select control not responding to a mouse click but working with the keyboard or after it was activated using the keyboard. Unfortunately, these terms are so common that it is not coming up in a search for me (or the search has way too many results).

Looks that some JavaScript is not working properly.

Try to right-click the input field. That makes the cursor appear for me.

With these minified scripts it's very difficult to follow what the event handlers do, or don't do.
