A separate window doesn't come up to email pictures.
The last time I used this, a week ago, I right clicked on a picture, a box came up "send", to mail recipient, another box, resize the file then "attach". After this two Thunderbird screens came up, I clicked on the one I wanted to send, addressed it and sent it. After an update, this week, I no longer have two screens and can't find the mail with the attachment/s to send. Thank you, Alex

It is a bug in the new version. There are dozens of posts on this over the last 2 days. Look through these post for the solutions.
