Nothing shown in the Firefox feature page seems to be true - no button on top left, no favorites or bookmarks on far right - WTF?

more options

The diagram on http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/central/ shows lots of nice features but none of them are actually present in my browser. No button with all the menu options, no bookmark or favorite button to right of Home button. All the nice features seem to be fiction. What is up with that?

BTW, my version number as displayed in Help>About Firefox, is 4.0.1.

If you right-click after Help on the menu bar and uncheck Menu Bar, then the orange Firefox button should appear. I think that is supposed to happen automatically when you upgrade on Windows Vista or Windows 7, but maybe it was overridden by a personal setting somewhere. You also need to hide your Bookmarks Toolbar to get the bookmarks button to appear on the main Navigation Toolbar. Play and have fun.

Oh -- to display the menu bar after hiding it, tap the Alt key or press F10.
