Video keeps dimming when the pause menu fades

Title pretty much says it all. got the new update and now every time i watch a video on Disney +, the pause menu will fade then the video goes super dark. it was working fine yesterday

Hello,

Here are some potential fixes : Disable auto HDR; if you have a HDR monitor, go to about:config, accept risk (use at own discretion), and search for gfx.webrender.overlay-vp-auto-hdr. After that, double click it to change it from true to false. After that, restart firefox. if it doesnt fix it, re-enable it.

Next, you can try disabling hardware acceleration, by going to menu > settings > general, and scroll down till you see the performance section. Then, uncheck "Use recommended performance settings" and "Use hardware acceleration when available". After that, Restart firefox

If the dimming happens when you are transitioning in/out of fullscreen, go to about:config, search for full-screen-api.transition-duration.enter, and double click and set its value to 0. After that, restart firefox.
