Firefox eating a lot of free space

Francois

Hello, I noticed that my system disk free space was declining. After some checks I found that underr

C:\Users\François\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\wjZDDDl0.Profil 1\storage\to-be-removed

were a lot of directory with GBo of data. In may I deleted all these subdirectories and went from 23 to 33 Go free space Yesterday same thing I went from 25 to 41 Go free space.

Why are these files keeping accumulating and are not removed automatically as per name ? Thanks. I'm using Windows 11 Famille Version 25H2 Installé le 25/11/2024 Build du système d’exploitation 26200.8737 Pack de fonctionnalités Pack d’expérience de fonctionnalités Windows 1000.26100.334.0

and Firefox 152.0.5 (64 bits)

It is site data that should get eventually cleaned up after hitting certain quota. Maybe the background task does not have access to these? Could you eventually follow up in

if none of the tips in the threads help to improve this on your side? Thanks.
