FIREFOX FREQUENT CRASHES

I GOT TIRED OF FREQUENT FIREFOX CRASHES (C0000005) IN BOTH THE 64-BIT AND 32-BIT DESKTOP VERSIONS. I HAVE BEEN USING THE 64-BIT VERSION IN WINDOWS 11 (I HAVE A HIGH-END SAGER LAPTOP WITH 32GB RAM. I INSTALLED THE FREQUENT FIREFOX UPDATES BUT THE PROBLEN PERSISTED EVER SINCE VERSIONS 42X WERE RELEASED. I TRIED THE 32-BIT VERSION BUT THE PROBLEM PERSISTED. FINALLED, I TRIED THE DEVELOPER VERSION: NO MORE CRASHES! I READ THE RESPONSES FROM YOUR CLUELESS STAFF TO OTHER CUSTOMERS WITH THE SAME TROUBLE. THIS IS NOT A WINDOWS ERROR; THIS IS A FIREFOX APPLICATION ERROR. MAYBE SOME OF YOUR FIREFOX DEVELOPER CODERS SHOULD ASSIST THE 32-BIT AND 64-BIT DEVELOPERS. OR, DUMP THE VERSION 4X CODE AND BUILD ON THE MORE STABLE 39X CODE. ALSO, DON'T BLAME WINDOWS FOR FIREFOX APPLICATION ERRORS. AND...NEVER SUGGEST A WINDOWS REINSTALL FOR FIREFOX ERRORS!!!

We're sorry to hear that Firefox is crashing. In order to assist you better, please follow the steps below to provide us crash IDs to help us learn more about your crash.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

  1. Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A list of Submitted (and Unsubmitted, if any) Crash Reports will appear, similar to the one shown below.
  2. Copy the 5 most recent Submitted Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste those IDs into the "Post a Reply" box.

Note: If a recent Report ID does not start with bp- click on it to submit the report.

(Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like.)

Please re-read my statement. The Developer version solved my problem. The 32-bit and 64-bit versions have the same problem. The Developer writers obviously are more skilled than your other staff. The 'c------5' abend code is common with poorly-written apps. Personally, I suspect the 40x version line has inherent faults. The 39x versions were more stable.

The Developer Edition build of Firefox is a Beta for the next Release version. A crash report would be useful, but you may want to try version 144 in Release when it lands in the next week.

Firefox 39.0 was released back on July 2, 2015 so it is rather old now. Perhaps you meant Fx 139.0

If by Developers version you mean Developer Edition then that is basically the same as Beta channel test builds but with additional developer features.

Release channel < Beta channel < Nightly channel https://www.firefox.com/channel/desktop/

A version on Beta channel usually gets nine or ten builds (used to be say fourteen) in testing while the Nightly channel gets checkins and updates twice a day.

This is a community support forum (as you can see on top where it says Community Forums) and not staffed by some form of staff support centre or the developers as the regulars posting here are volunteers including the mods. Though the subscription based products Mozilla has does have direct ticket support as they paid for that as part of subscription.
