"Firefox is being updated by another instance"
The Vanguard website warns me that my Firefox browser "is no longer supported" and must be updated. when I try to update, the message is "Firefox is being updated by another instance." what does "another instance" mean? how can I update it? fyi I run Windows 11 on my desktop.

Greetings
The error message "Firefox is being updated by another instance" typically occurs when Firefox detects another process (like an updater, background task, or a hidden Firefox instance) is already performing an update.
Open task manager and look for any processes named firefox.exe or firefox updater. Right click and select "End Task" for all instances.
Sometimes, lingering processes or windows system locks can prevent updates. Restart your pc to clear these.
If the error persists, bypass the updater:
1. Visit https://www.mozilla.org/firefox 2. Download the latest version of Firefox 3. Install it manually, ensuring no other Firefox processes are running.
If you still can't update, let me know.
