In my Thunderbird for Android (version 9.0) inbox I do see a lot of emails showing "you need html support to view this message" instead of email info. After opening such an email, the text is correct. Is this a missing feature in this version?

Nee, dit is het gevolg van een door de afzender verkeerd geconfigureerd e-mailbericht, hier kan Thunderbird niets aan doen. Thunderbird kan heel goed, zoals te zien is, HTML-e-mailberichten tonen.
