Thunderbird multiple problems
I am having several issues with Thunderbird. First is random high CPU usage at times where the whole computer runs slow and Task Manager says Thunderbird is using high CPU and that Thunderbird is not responding. This will last 15 to 30 seconds.
The other issues are with calendar. It used to be in calendar that when finding events that a repeating event would only show up once in the found list. Now, repeating events show up as multiple individual events in the find list making searching difficult. The other calendar issue is when requesting "find events" it will take 30 seconds for the search box to unlock and allow characters to be entered into the search box. Up to that time Thunderbird is frozen. Any suggestions?
I am on Version 128.6.0esr
Windows 10
Thanks, Dennis

The most common causes are antivirus software, thunderbird calendar events, RSS feed new article checks. These and more are listed at https://wiki.mozilla.org/Thunderbird:Testing:Memory_Usage_Problems. Tell us what you find.
DenJ, what were you able to find?
