My firefox will not refresh until I click on an app other than the firefox browser. How do I fix this?
I just installed Firefox on my new laptop. It seems to work fine except that it will not show the content of the page or refresh to show any changes or selections I make until I click outside the browser on another application. Just clicking outside the browser on my desktop does not cause the page to show it's content but it will show the content or changes if I click on another app that is running outside the browser such as my mail or chat app.
Is there a fix for this, as this "bug" is very irritating and if I can not fix it will probably uninstall this browser. I have never had this problem with Firefox on any other device and none of my other browsers are having this issue on this laptop. Just Firefox.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).
Is the problem still there?
I answered your e-mail, but will post here as well.
I tried to do as you stated but when I started Firefox with the shift key held I never got the dialog box asking if I wanted to start in safemode or reset. Might have been there but since it doesn't show content until I click ouside the browser on another app I may have missed it. So not sure if Firefox started in safemode or not. I just know the issue is still there.
Please post any response here in the forum.
Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe websites. Is the problem still there?
