Do you mean that you reset Firefox? That means that you cleared a lot of settings. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings That file seems rather confusing to me, since it lists the same items repeatedly, for some reason, but it might help.

When you reset Firefox then a new profile is created and some personal data (bookmarks, history, cookies, passwords, form data) is automatically imported and the current profile folder will be moved to the desktop to an "Old Firefox Data" folder. Installed extensions and other customizations (toolbars, prefs) that you have made are lost and need to be redone. If this didn't happen for you and you lost all or some of your personal data that you should have kept then check the "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop or if this folder is missing as well then check if there are multiple profiles in the default location in the hidden Application Data folder.

  • C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\

It is possible to recover data from the old profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.
