continual Unresponsive script problem

This is a continual problem. I have increased the setting of parameter: dom.max_script_run_time gradually from 10 to 60. Every time Firefox starts I still have the same problem, usually with Firefox scripts i.e. Script: file:///C:/Program%20Files/Mozilla%20Firefox/components/nsBlocklistService.js:648 I have Firefox version 3.6.8 installed. This is getting tiresome. Please advise how can be fixed.

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
