Suddenly, my sent messages don't appear anywhere, after updating to version 153.

I have my email setting to place a sent message in the same folder as I'm replying from. Since this morning, the sent messages don't appear anywhere.

Hello there

Yes, I should do that as well. Here is some information on how to rebuilds everything . Please take a look when you have some free time.

Close Thunderbird completely.

1.Open your Thunderbird profile folder on the PC: Go to Help > Troubleshooting Information, then find the Profile Folder and click Open Folder.

2.Open the folder for your email account: choose Mail (for POP) or ImapMail (for IMAP). Delete only the files that end in .msf.

3.Restart Thunderbird. It will rebuild those files automatically.

Thank you for using thunderbird.

On what date and time did you update to 153.0 ?

At approximately 10:00 a.m., July 31.

So it started after updating to 153, not before?

Hello there

I suppose you have to reset some settings to get a sent folder. Are you still experiencing these features in that earlier version of Thunderbird? May I ask? What version of thunderbird?

Hi, I changed my setting so that all sent messages, including replies, go to my "Sent" folder. Thanks for helping.
