I want to use Apple Passkey/keychain but I'm told to update my browser on my Mac, despite having the latest version (149.0.2 (64-bit)

I'm able to use my Passkey/keychain when using Safari to login in to other accounts on my Mac but, when I try through Firefox, I'm told I need to update my browser version. My version (149.0.2 (64-bit)) is showing as up to date. Do I need an Apple add-in and, if so, how do I get and install it?
