Added Thunderbird Folder ... changed its name

Added/Created this folder " " 0 _2026 - BANKS - 5 CARS [ 2 NEW/3USED ] "

Now the folder looks like this 

         0 _2026 - BANKS - 5 CARS  [ 2 NEWe96f7068

I have a dozen other folders that appear like this with the letters/numbers at the end. When I delete them they reappear next time I open Thunderbird. 

Are these folders corrupt? 
How do I eliminate them ?  
How do I stop folders from reappearing?
