Bookmarks and History not working
Since Firefox automatically updated (14.0.1) on my MacBook Air (2025 model) several weeks ago, the Bookmarks and History functions haven't worked. Can anyone suggest how I can fix this?

Thanks for replying, Kiki. In fact, I've solved the problem. When Firefox updated, it had turned off the syncing for Bookmarks and History. Going thru Preferences > Sync > Manage syncing, I just had to tick the appropriate boxes again.

Hey Rob,
Can you elaborate on what do you mean by haven't worked? Do you mean Firefox is not saving any new bookmark and history?

Oh, I'm glad you're able to resolve it on your own. I just marked your response as the solution to help others with the same issue.
I hope you have a safe and enjoyable browsing experience with Firefox! (:
I have had this problem since a Firefox update a couple weeks ago. Unfortunately, "Preferences" and "Manage syncing" are not current options in Firefox. I can't find the pages I need because Firefox doesn't remember anything and it's very time-consuming and annoying.
I found a place under Settings and Syncing to add Bookmarks and History. Then I had to restart Firefox. Now it seems like it is allowing me to add bookmarks again and my old ones have returned. It is WILD that we have to manually summon our history and bookmarks from the void in this way after all these years.
