Each firefox start replace the option browser.link.open_newwindow=2. I tried changing it from about:config, from preferences. Also, tried disabling addons, safe start and probably something else. I know that I should refresh my profile but want to try another solution to prevent refreshing profile.

Note: Some software, like Advanced SystemCare with Surfing Protection, can protect files in the Firefox profile folder against changes. If you have such software then check the settings or uninstall this software.
