It appears that your localization of Firefox no longer has the Yahoo search plugin by default.

You can pick Google, Yahoo or any other search engine as the default in Firefox - see http://mzl.la/MOtkQ0
I can not choose Yahoo in search bar, because Yahoo does not exist. Please refer the attachment.
Check these out;
Book mark and use this; Download the Mozilla Search Reset {web link} This add-on is very simple: on installation, it backs up and then resets your search preferences and home page to their default values, and then uninstalls itself. This affects the search bar, URL bar searches, and the home page.
SearchThisSite {web link} Allows you to search the website currently viewed with the website's internal search engine (and not the default FF search engine or an external engine)
Add to Search Bar {web link} Make any pages' search functionality available in the Search Bar
