Started w/FF 29 something.on Win XP (Home) SP3

Verified w/Task manager and PS that there is no other instance of FF. Occurs only in my profile, administrator and other users do not get this message.

The fix I used last time (uninstalling completely and reinstalling in Safe Mode) ***did not work in this instance***.

Firefox now version 33.1.1, all seems up to date but I still get that message. When I open Help > About it says I am at version 33.1.1 and to restart to upgrade...

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Save the full installer someplace. Restart the computer. Open your file browser. Go to the computers program folder. Look for any Mozilla and Firefox folders. Rename them by adding .old to them. Restart the computer again. Now try the full installer.

Will give this a try and report back.

Already did that and tried to install in Safe Mode. (that worked the last time), but no luck. Still get that error.

Images are from the last instance but are the same now.

Very good work. Now, go back to the Programs folder and delete the OLD folders ( Not the new ones  ;-> )
