how to stop pop up ads

Hi! If you're seeing pop-up ads in Firefox even though you have McAfee installed, you can block many pop-ups directly through Firefox. Go to ☰ → Settings → Privacy & Security → Permissions, then make sure Block pop-up windows is enabled. If you're still seeing unwanted ads, an extension may be responsible. Try ☰ → Help → Troubleshoot Mode… and see if the pop-ups continue. If they stop, one of your extensions is likely causing the problem. Also, be careful with websites that ask you to click Allow to send notifications.
